Cool Girl Guide: The Ultimate Gorgeous Spots in Boston

As someone who spent parts of her life spending her weekends over in the city, I feel qualified to give you the Cool Girl Guide to Boston. 

Fenway Park

As I am sure you already know, Boston is home to the baseball team Red Sox who play over at Fenway. Despite not being a sporty girl myself, there is something so wonderful about singing Sweet Caroline with thousands of strangers in the scorching sun whilst trying to figure out the rules of the game. Once I bought a team t-shirt at Savers the night before, whereas last year I secured a pink Red Sox jersey on Vinted for £2 and brought it with me. I really recommend going for the experience, but make sure to bring your sunnies and lather on that suncream in the summer!

Newbury Street

You’ve probably seen photos of it online. An aesthetic street, filled with independent boutiques and high street retailers, close to everything. Once a week the road is closed for traffic for a street long market outside. It’s a breath of fresh air (quite literally). I often stumbled across cute little markets in that area and around Copley Square!

Boston Public Library

As a proud museum and gallery lover, I can hand on heart say that the Boston Public Library is stunning. I would go for a sit down after a long shopping day or even to hide out from a storm. Its a truly beautiful building, and perfect photo spot! The Library also organises plenty of events, all of which can be found here.

The Longfellow Bridge 

My favourite part of the entire city. The view from the Longfellow Bridge made me feel like I was a main character in a Netflix workplace drama. Both day and night, this view never failed me. If you are wanting to take a nice stroll or want to experience a gorgeous Boston backdrop, this is where I would recommend.

Of course just like with every city, there are plenty of gems. Boston is a pretty wonderful place, and even if you go for an ‘aimless’ stroll, you’re bound to find something that catches your eye.
